CHARLESTON, Ill. – Heavy rain showers overnight Saturday that continued through Sunday have forced the cancellation of the rubber game of the Eastern Illinois-Austin Peay baseball series at Coaches Stadium.

 

The contest will not be made up.

 

The cancellation was the first for both teams in Ohio Valley Conference play this season.

Eastern closes out its home schedule Tuesday with a 3 p.m. game against Evansville.
