CHICAGO - Former Eastern Illinois quarterback Tony Romo was back in the state where he led the Panthers to three straight FCS playoff appearances on Sunday to toss out the first pitch at Wrigley Field.
The two-time NFL All-Pro quarterback was on hand to toss out the first pitch for Sunday's Chicago Cubs game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. He later sang the 7th inning stretch, a tradition at Wrigley Field for selected guests since the passing of legendary announcer Harry Caray. Chicago tied the game in the 7th inning after Romo's singing appearance and later won the game, 6-4, with two runs in the 8th.
