The dawn of a New ERA of Eastern Illinois football opened on Thursday as the Panthers reported to campus for the 2012 season.  The season opens in four weeks when EIU hosts in-state rival Southern Illinois on August 30.  Kick off is 6:30 p.m. at O'Brien Field.

The New ERA also began with a new look as the Panthers will wear black helmets with a blue and gray Panther logo on the side. 

Media/Fan Autograph day is set for this Saturday, August 4 at 1:15 p.m. at O'Brien Field.
