2009: Thomas played in three games and started the Asbury contest… saw action in relief in the IPFW and Drake games… also saw action in all three exhibition events, starting the Butler game… shutout Asbury, making two saves… had two saves in 35 minutes of action against Drake… the goal he surrendered in relief against IPFW was scored on a penalty kick.

HIGH SCHOOL: Thomas was a four-year varsity letter-winner for coach Tony Bauman… 2008 Bloomington Pantagraph Area Player of the Year… three-time First Team All-Big 12 Conference and All-Area honoree… twice named All-Sectional by the Illinois High School Soccer Coaches Association… WJBC Radio Athlete of the Week (Sept. 2008)… two-time team MVP as an upperclassman and a three-time team captain… four-year high honor roll student… BHS senior and Big 12 Conference scholar-athlete… was also a member of the Illinois ’90 Olympic Development Program team as a region 2 pool player… played for the Illinois Fusion and Central Illinois Select club teams as well.

PERSONAL: No. 1 sports highlight was playing against and training with the U18 national team in the summer of 2007… his family has been a major influence on his sports career because “they taught me that no matter the situation or the score, try your best”… most admires his former goalkeeper coach John Sime because “without him, I would not be the ‘keeper or person I am today. He gave me many opportunities to be seen by top-level coaches”… son of Fred and Jill ThomasMAJOR: Special Education.
