HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped for coach Tom Shallenberger at Mahomet-Seymour... in 2004 he earned all-state honors from the Illinois Football Coaches Association, Champaign News-Gazette and Chicago Tribune... he was three-time Champaign News-Gazette All-Area, 2004 Bloomington Pantagraph Area ‘Athlete of the Year’, and three-time All-Cornbelt Conference... in 41 varsity starts, he threw for 6,582 yards, 67 touchdown passes and completed 65.0% of his passes... those figures all rank in the Top Ten on the all-time IHSA list... earned ten letters in football (4), baseball (4) and basketball (2), and earned all-conference and all-area honors in baseball... National Honor Society.
PERSONAL: Secondary education history and social science major... No. 1 sports highlight was “setting the high school record for most letters won”... son of Jerry and Dalene Reeder... his brother, Dule, played football at Vanderbilt... father Jerry, is a longtime high school and college coach.
