COACH BOS SAYS: “Last year Elliott contributed in a number of events, but we are going to have him concentrate on the sprint and middle distance freestyle events this year... he’s one of several swimmers who have the ability to emerge as our top sprinter, so I think it will be a challenging and fun senior year for him”....
2007-08: Finished in top-five in 27 individual/relay events as a junior... set three season-high times at league meet, including in both the 100 and 200 Back races, as well as the 200-IM....
2006-07: Finished fifth and eighth in the 100 and 200-Back, respectively, at EIU’s own Panther Invite... was eighth and tenth place in those same events at the league meet to finish the year... overall he finished in the top-ten 17 times over....
PREP: Earned Second Team All-State honors as a senior in the 200-Medley Relay... four-year letterwinner... squad was a three-time Big 12 Conference and sectional champs... also on golf squad....
PERSONAL: History major with teacher certification... son of Jeff & Susan McGill.
