CHICAGO-EIU GOLF CLASSIC & BANQUET - May 17-18 (Bolingbrook Golf Club)
The 5th edition of the EIU-Chicago Golf Classic promises to be the best yet expanding to cover two days filled with great food, great friends and hopefully great golf. The events kick off with a banquet on Sunday evening at 7 p.m. at Bolingbrook Golf Club. This year Monday's golf event will be flighted into a morning session (8 a.m. start) and afternoon session (1 p.m. start) with lunch in between. Unable to golf, you can still join us for the banquet. SPRINGFIELD-BILL GLENN OPEN - June 25 (Piper Glen Golf Club)
The Bill Glenn Open returns for its 9th edition returning once again to Piper Glen Golf Club in Springfield. This Thursday event honors one of EIU's greatest athletic alum's. Lunch , generously donated by the Springfield Arby's begins at 11:30 a.m. with golf starting at 1 p.m. (shotgun start). Dinner, which begins at 6 p.m., will be sponsored by Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc. BLUE AND GRAY CLASSIC - July 10 (Paris Country Club)
The Miller Lite EIU Classic returns to the Paris Country Club on Friday, July 10 under a new name as the Blue and Gray Classic. This event is done in conjunction with the Edgar County Alumni Scholarship Committee. Registration and lunch begin at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Dinner at the course is set for 5:30 p.m. The event is sponsored by Koerner Distributor, Inc. The EIU-PLAYERS Championship golf outing returns to the popular Lake of the Woods Golf Club in Mahomet on Friday, July 24. This outing features the Eastern Illinois football staff and players as they prepare for the 2009 season. THE AD CUP - August 14 (Mattoon Country Club)
Join Eastern Illinois athletics for a very special golf outing as the Panthers kick off a year long celebration of 100 years of Panther basketball at The AD Cup on Friday, August 14 at the Mattoon Country Club. The event will feature select special men's basketball guests as the 6 p.m. dinner will kick off the 100 year event.
