Eastern Illinois University is a NCAA Division I institution located in Charleston, Illinois. The school holds membership in the Ohio Valley Conference for 17 of its 21 intercollegiate sports with football playing at the NCAA FCS level. Men's soccer is an associate member of the Missouri Valley Conference while the men's and women's swimming teams compete as associate members in The Summit League (formerly Mid-Continent Conference). The EIU rugby team competes as an NCAA Division I independent and is still under NCAA Division I rules.

INTERIM HEAD MEN & WOMEN’S SWIMMING/DIVING COACH
Responsibilities: Under the direct supervision of the Director of Athletics, include but are not limited to: coaching, recruitment of quality student athletes, schedules, conditioning, budget preparation, fundraising and other duties as assigned. The candidate will organize and administer the program. Facilities consist of one 6-lane 25 yard pool which is shared with the Department of Physical Education, Student Recreation and Athletics.
Qualifications: Master’s degree required. Successful background experience in collegiate swimming/diving required. Must have a thorough understanding of NCAA rules & regulations. Salary commensurate with background and experience.

ASSISTANT ATHLETIC TRAINER
Responsibilities: This is a full-time, 12 month position with full benefits. Reports to head athletic trainer... duites include assisting head athletic trainer in developing, coordinating and administering a comprehensive athletic training program including health care for all student-athletes in 21 Division I sports (I-AA in football). Requirements also include: team coverage, daily operation of athletic training facilities ans serving as ACI for students in accredited undergraduate program. Evening/weekend work and travel with assigned teams will be required as necessary. Additional duties as assigned by head athletic trainer and athletic administration.
Qualifications: Master’s degree required; NATABOC certification; and eligible for Illinois AT license. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills needed.

COORDINATOR OF EQUIPMENT STADIUM FACILITIES
Position: This is 12 month Administrative & Professional position with benefits. Reports to the Associate Athletic Director and/or Sports Supervisor. The incumbent must be certified by the Athletic Equipment Managers Association. The incumbent must also have knowledge of and follow NCAA rules and Ohio Valley Conference guidelines. A bachelor's degree is required, as well as, equipment room experience. The incumbent will be responsible for all related functions of the stadium equipment room operations including: computer skills, inventory ordering, issuing and maintaining equipment, laundry operations, inventory and proper equipment fitting techniques. The position will require attending practices, game day equipment operations and other duties as assigned. The incumbent will be expected to work weekends and nights. Some travel is required. Excellent interaction skills, communication abilities, honesty, positive attitude and strong work ethics are required.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR FOR ACADEMIC SERVICES
Responsibilities: This is a full-time, 12 month position with full benefits. Position will assist the Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance/Academic Services and the Director of Academic Services in maintaining and expanding academic services to student-athletes. Provide academic consulting services, resolve problems relating to curriculum, course prerequisites and eligiblity; meet with at-risk student-athletes and develop a plan of study to ensure success; monitor and assist in daily operations in the Academic Services Center; participate in in-service training related to academic advisement; assist in maintaining compliance with NCAA rules, regulations and reporting; assist in the coordination of CHAMPS Life Skills evaluations, interpretations and requested data files; and perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant AD and/or Director of Academic Services.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in related field required with one year experience in Athletic Advising preferred. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations; knowledge of organizational structure and ability to communicate effectively.
