Four Track Athletes Earn Academic Honor
7.30.2010 | Men's Outdoor Track, Women's Outdoor Track
Eastern Illinois had four track and field athletes honored for their academic and athletic success this week as the United States Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association released its 2009-10 All-Academic squad. The four honored Panthers were Tyler Arnholt, Megan Gingerich, Erin O’Grady and Jaimee Roy.

Day three of the track and field NCAA West Regional came to a close with one Eastern Illinois individual and the men's 4x100 relay team all competing for a chance to advance to the NCAA National Championships. Both the individual and relay team fell short in their attempts ending the season for the Panther men.

Eastern Illinois track and field athletes will head to the Louisville Cardinal Twilight this Friday evening as they participate in the final regular-season meet of the season looking to either improve their current NCAA Regional ranking or attempt to move into the Top 48 for the NCAA West Regional in Austin, Texas on May 28-29.
