This page will contain job openings within the Eastern Illinois Department of Athletics as they become available.

Eastern Illinois University is a NCAA Division I institution located in Charleston, Illinois. The school holds membership in the Ohio Valley Conference for 17 of its 21 intercollegiate sports with football playing at the NCAA FCS level.

Men's soccer and men's and women's swimming teams compete as associate members in The Summit League (formerly Mid-Continent Conference). The EIU rugby team competes as an NCAA Division I independent and is still under NCAA Division I rules.

Women's Basketball
Chantelle Pressley from women's basketball and Sean Wiggan from men's indoor track have been named the EIU student-athletes of the week.

Pressley helped the women's basketball team extend its current winning streak to nine games as she scored in double figures against both Austin Peay and Jacksonville State.  Pressley had a double-double in the win over APSU with 13 points, 10 rebounds.

Wiggan had a solid showing at the Indiana Relays as he placed first in the 600m and was 8th in the 800m invitational.  Wiggan's winning time of 1:19.70 in the 600m set the school record.  His time in the 800m was 1:51.93.
