CHARLESTON, Ill. – A week after each getting drafted in the first 13 rounds of the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft, Eastern Illinois baseball's Tyler Kehrer, Jordan Kreke and Brett Nommensen have each signed with the organizations that selected them.
 
Kehrer was picked 48th overall in Compensation Round A (between rounds one and two) by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. The left-handed pitcher has signed with Angels and is expected to be assigned to the Orem Owlz of the Pioneer League. The Rookie League affiliate is based in Orem, Utah.
 
Nommensen was selected in the eighth round by the Tampa Bay Rays. The outfielder has signed with the Rays and has been assigned to the Hudson Valley Renegades of the New York-Penn League. The Rookie League affiliate is based in Fishkill, N.Y.
 
Kreke was drafted in the 13th round by the Atlanta Braves. The infielder has signed with the Braves and is expected to be assigned to the Danville Braves of the Appalachian League. The Rookie League affiliate is based in Danville, Va.
