CHARLESTON, Ill. – An information meeting about open tryouts for Eastern Illinois baseball will be held Wednesday, Aug. 26 at 4 p.m. at Coaches Stadium, head coach Jim Schmitz has announced.

The subsequent dates and times of the actual on-field tryouts will be unveiled at the meeting.

 

Those attending the informational meeting need to:

-- bring proof of medical insurance
-- be registered with the NCAA Clearinghouse (visit www.ncaaclearinghouse.org for more info)
-- be enrolled in a minimum 12 hours of academic courses for the upcoming fall semester at EIU
