CHARLESTON, Ill. -- After gutting out a recent fourth place finish at the Morehead State Kickoff, the Eastern Illinois men's golf squad will get back into fall action, teeing off at the John Dallio Memorial being held this weekend at the Ruffled Feathers Golf Course in Lemont, Ill.

DePaul will play host to the 16-squad tournament, which will also feature teams from Bradley, Dayton, Detroit Mercy, Drake, George Washington, Georgetown, Loyola College, Loyola (Chicago), Northern Iowa, Nova Southeastern, South Florida, Southern Illinois, Western Illinois, Wright State, and the EIU Panthers.

Following a Saturday practice round, action gets started with two rounds of play on Sunday (Sep. 27), followed by a Monday single round.

Senior Matt Bird led all Panthers in Eastern's first fall action earlier this month, capturing a seventh place tie, while sophomore David Lawrence also ended up in the Top 10, tying for ninth.   Fellow sophomore Gino Parrodi took home a 20th place tie of his own.

The Panthers will look to improve upon their 13th place finish at the DePaul event held last fall.

Next up for the Panthers on the autumn slate will be the Butler Invitational on Oct. 4-6, which will be played just outside of Indianapolis, Indiana.
