CHARLESTON, Ill. -- The Eastern Illinois men's and women's tennis teams each have two home matches this upcoming weekend. Friday (April 2) at 10 a.m. features an Ohio Valley Conference matchup against Jacksonville State, followed by a Sunday (April 4) dual versus Tennessee State at 9 a.m.

The TSU match has been pushed back a day from it's originally scheduled Saturday match due to potential inclement weather in the east central Illinois area

All matches will be at the Rex Darling Courts.

The men come in with an 3-12 (0-3 OVC) record while the women are 4-9 (1-3 OVC).

The women last played against Morehead State losing 7-0. The men dropped a 5-2 decision to Morehead State as Jeff Rutherford and Matyas Hilgert hit past their opponents to secure the two EIU points.

The Jacksonville State men come in at 7-9 (3-1 OVC) while the women are 8-8 (4-0 OVC).

Tennessee State's men have played only OVC opponents all season dropping all five matches. The women have played seven matches, all against OVC opponents, and are winless.

After this weekend, the Panther men will return to action at home against Southern Illinois on Wednesday (April 7) while the Panther women will travel to Cape Girardeau, Mo. on Tuesday (April 6) to take on Southeast Missouri.
