JACKSON, Miss. – The duration of the Jackson State Baseball Tournament has been canceled due to poor field and weather conditions in Jackson, Miss.
 
EIU was slated to face Mississippi Valley State at 6 p.m. this evening before concluding the tournament on Sunday afternoon against host Jackson State.
 
The Panthers defeated MVSU in their season-opening game on Friday afternoon by a score of 11-2. EIU later dropped its night contest to JSU, 2-1.
 
The Panthers return to action on Feb. 24-26 at Southeastern Louisiana.
