The Panther women's basketball team plays host to Morehead State at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 4. EIU is 18-4 (9-0 OVC) and Morehead State is 7-14 (4-5 OVC).
EIU-MOREHEAD STATE SERIES
The Panther hold a 15-14 advantage in the all-time series. EIU head coach Brady Sallee is 8-5 against the Eagles including a 4-2 record inside Lantz Arena. The Panthers have posted a 7-1 record in the last eight meetings between the two squads.
PANTHERS DOWN REDHAWKS ON WEDNESDAY

Ta'Kenya Nixon scored a season-high 24 points to lead the women's basketball team to a 74-48 win over Southeast Missouri on Wednesday night.
Mariah King added 13 points and a game-high nine rebounds while
Sydney Mitchell chipped in 12 points.
PANTHERS KEEP OVC WIN STREAK ALIVE
With the win over Southeast Missouri on Wednesday night, the Panthers remain undefeated in OVC play with an 9-0 record. EIU has now won 18 consecutive OVC regular-season games dating back to last season. The last time the Panthers dropped a regular-season OVC game was on Jan. 27, 2011 when they lost at home to Tennessee Tech, 60-56.
PANTHERS WIN 11 IN A ROW
With the win over Southeast Missouri, the Panthers have now won 11 consecutive games. EIU has its first double-digit win steak since the 2009-10 squad won a program-best 13 straight games.
SALLEE IN OVC GAMES
Under the direction of head coach Brady Sallee, the women's basketball team has posted an 87-52 record in Ohio Valley Conference games. EIU has won 82 percent of its OVC games since the start of the 2007-08 season with a 68-15 record.
SUCCESS INSIDE LANTZ ARENA UNDER BRADY SALLEE
Since head coach Brady Sallee took over the Panther women's basketball program, EIU has posted a 78-32 overall record inside Lantz Arena. The Panthers have posted a .808 winning percentage with a 59-14 record in home games since the start of the 2007-08 campaign.
NIXON HITS SEASON-HIGH IN WIN
Junior
Ta'Kenya Nixon scored a season-high 24 points on 10-for-14 shooting in Wednesday night's home win over Southeast Missouri. The guard has hit the 20-point plateau 18 times in her career in addition to scoring in double figures a total of 67 times.
PANTHERS OUTDOING THEIR OPPONENTS FROM THE FOUL LINE
EIU has been aggressive on the offensive end of the floor this season, getting to the foul line 175 more times than their opponents. The Panthers are hitting 72.4 percent of their foul shot attempts, the third highest percentage in the OVC.
PANTHERS IN OVC GAMES
EIU is has dominated its OVC foes this season, outscoring its opponents by 18.9 points per game. Defensively, the Panthers have a +12.8 rebounding margin while averaging 8.2 steals per game and 4.2 blocks per game. EIU has also hit 44.5 percent of its shot attempts while holding opponents to a 34.1 field-goal percentage.
NIXON AMONG THE NATION'S BEST IN FIELD GOAL PERCENTAGE

Ta'Kenya Nixon is hitting 53 percent of her shot attempts, the third highest percentage in the OVC and highest of any player listed as a guard. Nationally she ranks third in field-goal percentage among players listed as a guard. She is also hitting 57.6 percent of her shots from the floor in OVC action.
EIU ONE LINERS
• The Panthers have hit 82 percent their free throws in their last two games, going 46-for-56 from the charity stripe.
Jordyne Crunk has led the charge as she has gone 10-for-10 from the line in those two contests while
Sydney Mitchell went 10-for-11.

Sydney Mitchell has also done well from the foul line, going 33-for-38.
• EIU shot over 40 percent from the floor in the win over Southeast Missouri for the fifth consecutive game. The Panthers are 12-0 this season when shooting over 40 percent from the floor.
• The Panthers have scored 40 or more points in the paint in four of their last five contests. EIU is averaging 31.5 ppg in the paint on the year while limiting opponents to only 24.1 ppg in the paint.

Kelsey Wyss ranks fourth in the OVC in three-point field goal percentage, hitting 39.5 percent of her shot attempts from behind the arc. She has a team-high 30 made three pointers.

Chantelle Pressley who rank in the OVC's top-10 for rebounding. King ranks seventh with 7.6 rebounds per game while Pressley ranks ninth with 6.8 rebounds per game.

Ta'Kenya Nixon currently leads the OVC in steals (2.9 spg) while ranking second in assists (4.4 apg). The guard also ranks ninth in scoring (14.9 ppg) and 14
th in rebounds (5.9 rpg).

Chantelle Pressley has won 83 games in a Panther uniform, the most by any women's basketball player in school history during the Division I era. Both the 1985 and 2010 classes compiled 76 wins.
• The Panthers currently lead the OVC in scoring defense (58.6 ppg), scoring margin (+14.6), field-goal percentage (.428), field-goal percentage defense (.362), rebounding margin (+9.4) while ranking second in scoring offense (73.2 ppg) and blocks (3.5 bpg).
• EIU has made a three pointer in 78 consecutive games. The last time the Panthers did not make a three pointer was on Dec. 9, 2009 when they went 0-for-10 from behind the arc in a 66-58 home win over Western Michigan.
WYSS MOVES INTO THE CAREER CHARTS
Junior guard
Kelsey Wyss currently has 110 made three pointers throughout her career, the eighth highest total in school history. The Hoagland, Ind., native only needs three more to pass Angie Patzner (1996-00) and move into seventh.
NXION IN THE CAREER CHARTS
Ta'Kenya Nixon has made 368 free throws in her career, the third most in school history. The Michigan City, Ind., native needs eight more made free throws to pass Pam O'Connor (2001-05) and move up to second all-time.
Nixon also has dished out 408 assists in her career so far, the sixth most in school history. She ranks seventh in career steals with 184.
PRESSLEY IN THE CAREER CHARTS
Senior forward
Chantelle Pressley has 84 career blocks, the sixth most in school history. The Lexington, Ky., native needs 16 more blocks to move into fifth all-time in career blocks and tie Missy Beck who had 100 blocked shots from 1993-96.
