CHARLESTON, Ill. – The Eastern Illinois football radio network is expanding with the addition of Charleston's new news talk radio station, WRJM 1270 AM and 107 FM which will carry all eleven regular season football games for the 2012 season.

WRJM will enable listeners across east central Illinois to hear EIU Panther football in Coles, Edgar, Effingham, Clark, Cumberland and Jasper counties on the AM dial at 1270.  WRJM will distribute the games to the EIU Football Radio Network which includes WMKR Genuine Country 94.3 Taylorville and WHOW The Big 1520 AM/92.3 FM Clinton.

WEIU Hit Mix 88.9 FM, the Eastern Illinois University radio station, will continue to originate football broadcasts this fall covering Coles, Shelby, Moultrie, Douglas and Edgar counties.  WEIU TV will once again serve as the home for EIU football on the air with all five home games at O'Brien Field being broadcast live.

Veteran announcer Mike Bradd returns for his 13th season as the “Voice of EIU Panther Football” with Jack Ashmore providing color commentary for this season.
