CHARLESTON, Ill. – Eastern Illinois head women's basketball coach Debbie Black has added Australian guard Grace Lennox as the second member of her 2014 recruiting class announced on Thursday morning. The NCAA's early signing period opened on Nov. 13 with the Panthers signing post player Morgan Martin.

Lennox was a member of the Australian U17 National Team that competed in the FIBA Oceania Games. As a point guard she was named an All-League player helping lead her team to the 2013 Premier League Championship. Lennox scored 17 points with four rebounds in the championship game.

"Grace plays as a combination guard but will be more of a point guard at the college level," said Black. "She is a tough, hard-nosed competitor that has played at the International level. She is from Tasmania and helped lead her team to the championship last season."

EIU will return to action on Friday night with a 7 p.m. game at Saint Louis.
