GAME 6
Eastern Illinois wraps up its early four-game home stand on Saturday night hosting Northern Kentucky.  The Panthers won their first game of the season on Tuesday night with a 68-62 win over Indiana State.  The Panthers held ISU to 39 percent shooting while three players scored in double figures to lead EIU.  Northern Kentucky comes into the game at 1-4 after back-to-back road losses at Xavier and North Carolina A&T.  The two schools will be meeting for the first time since EIU was a Division II member in 1980.

TESON SETS EIU FRESHMAN RECORD
Casey Teson knocked down 6-of-8 3-pointers on Tuesday night to finish with a game high 18 points in EIU's win over Indiana State.  During the win Teson set the EIU freshman record for 3-pointers made in a game.  The previous mark was five set by seven different players, most recently by Cornell Johnston last year at the OVC Tournament.  This season Teson ranks third in the OVC in 3-pointers made per game and all 12 of his field goals have come from behind the arc.

SPARK OFF THE BENCH
Trae Anderson came off the bench for a second straight game on Tuesday against Indiana State.  In both games off the bench Anderson is averaging 13 points and six rebounds per game.  On Tuesday he added two blocks and two steals in the win over the Sycamores.  Last season Anderson came off the bench in 14 games including five of the Panthers final six games of the season.  In those last five games Anderson averaged 15.2 points with a high of 19 against Oakland in the CIT.
