CHARLESTON, Ill. – Former Eastern Illinois quarterback
Andrew Manley has signed a contract with the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League. Manley will be a part of the team's training camp which opens next Sunday, May 31. The season opener for the team will be Saturday, June 13 against Ottawa.

Manley was a two-year member of the Panthers football team after starting his career at New Mexico State. During his first season he was a back-up behind current New England Patriots quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. As a senior he appeared in 11 games with two starts against Illinois State and UT Martin. For the season he passed for 850 yards going 76-of-146 (52.1 percent). Manley had four touchdown passes and rushed for two more scores finishing the season with 28 yards rushing.
