COACH BOS SAYS: “Kara continues to get better each year on the boards... she’ll be important to our team’s success if she can be consistent throughout the year”....
2007-08: Had 15 top-five finishes over the course of the season, including a third place honor in the 1-Meter dive versus Valparaiso, as well as both the 1-Meter and 3-Meter events against IUPUI....
2006-07: Kara captured fifth in the 1-Meter and 3-Meter events at the Panther Invitational, while finishing seventh in both events at the season-ending league meet....
PREP: Four year member of the varsity diving unit for coach Tom Strewski at Lake Park HS... three-time team captain....
PERSONAL: Earth science, secondary education major and a geology minor... daughter of Glenn & Carol Kooken.
