HIGH SCHOOL: Top cross country runner that competed at East Richland HS... as a senior he placed 17th in the IHSA Class 1A State Championships with a 3-mile time of 15:18... he was the top finisher for East Richland as they placed second in the state meet... at the Edwardsville Sectional Gassman helped his team win the sectional title as he placed 8th with a time of 17:01.
