JUNIOR (2007-08): First Team All-OVCOVC All-Tournament TeamDaily Eastern News Female Athlete of the Year... SOPHOMORE (2006-07): First Team All-OVCOVC Player of the Week (Dec. 4)State Farm Tiger Classic All-Tournament Team… Galligan started all 29 games, the only Panther to do so… led the team in scoring and rebounding while also ranking among the OVC Top Five in both… became the first EIU player since 1982 to post Top 10 single-season point and rebound totals in the same year (and the first to crack the rebounding Top 10 since 1993)… first Panther to earn First Team All-OVC honors since 1999… broke EIU single-season records for free throws made and attempted while leading the OVC in both categories… led the conference in blocked shots for the second year in a row… scored in double-figures in all but one game… led the team with eight double-doubles, seven of which came in conference play… averaged a double-double (17 and 10) in the month of February… scored a career-high 30 points thanks to a personal-best 10 field goals in the loss at Murray State… outscored the Conference Player of the Year, Murray State’s Joi Scott, in both of their head-to-head meetings… pulled down a career-high 17 rebounds on two occasions… fouled out of just one game despite being EIU’s top post player on both ends of the floor… two most impressive double-doubles: 23 and 16 (in 32 minutes) at Eastern Kentucky; 23 and 11 (in 22 minutes) in the win at Austin Peay… registered 28 points and 17 rebounds while playing a career-high 43 minutes in the double overtime loss to Jacksonville State… blocked at least one shot in 26 of the 29 games… posted three consecutive 20-point efforts the week of Nov. 29-Dec. 3 to earn her first career OVC player of the Week nod… represented EIU on the State Farm Tiger Classic All-Tournament Team after shooting 63 percent from the field and 17-of-18 at the free throw line in the two games... FRESHMAN (2005-06): OVC Freshman of the YearOVC All-Newcomer TeamTwo-Time OVC Freshman of the Week (Feb. 6 and Dec. 19)… Galligan played in every game and started the final 26 contests of the year… broke the EIU single-season blocked shots record and led the OVC, the first Panther to do so… also became the first Panther to win an individual post-season award in the OVC era (1997-present) while becoming the first EIU player to win league top newcomer/freshman since 1995… tied the EIU single-game records for blocked shots (6 vs. Butler) and field goal percentage (6-of-6, 1.000 vs. Tennessee State)… among freshmen nationally, turned the ball over the fewest times per 40 minutes (1.83)… posted three double-doubles – including an 11-point, 10-rebound effort in her first career start… scored in double-figures 20 times, including a team-high streak of eight straight games… pulled down a season-high 12 rebounds and scored 13 points in the win over Southeast Missouri… scored a season-high 18 points in the win over Eastern Kentucky… blocked a shot in 19 straight games… blocked multiple shots in 10 straight games, recording 33 rejections during that stretch… in the win at third-place Samford, scored 16 points and helped hold the Bulldogs’ top player, Alex Munday, to just five points on 1-of-11 shooting… shot 50 percent or better from the field 18 times… Top 10 OVC Rankings: first in blocks, fifth in field goal percentage, ninth in free throw percentage and 12th in rebounding.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Galligan was a four-year letter-winner for coach Debbie Coffman… also a four-year letter-winner in track and field, participating in the shot put and discus… Associated Press and IBCA Second Team All-State… three-time all-conference and two-time all-area… established new high school season and career blocked shots records… also holds the rebounding single-season record… surpassed the 1,000 career points plateau… team captain... CCHS was a three-time regional champ and also won sectionals her sophomore and senior years… Innercity champs as a senior after winning the State Farm Holiday Classic her junior year… honor roll student.

PERSONAL: No. 1 sports highlight was winning the regional championship her sophomore year, defeating the rival high school, and winning the Holiday Classic… her father has been a major influence on her sports career because “he was willing to do anything for me to help me improve my game”… most admires EIU assistant coach Quacy Timmons because “of her playing experience in the WNBA and for teaching me so much and inspiring me to be my best”… also credits her stepmom Natalie Galligan for her support... enjoys shopping, boating, roller coasters and video games… daughter of Michael and Elizabeth GalliganMajor: Communication Studies (Public Relations).
