Brad is a senior distance runner in both cross-country and track... ran cross country in 2008 finishing as EIU’s top runner before injury sidelined him for OVC championship and NCAA Regional... personal best 8K time of 25:11.99 at Evansville... indoor track placed 3rd in 5000m at OVC championships... set three personal records during 2008 indoor season... did not compete in 2008 outdoor season... competed unattached during the 2007 cross country season... placed 15th at Memphis Twilight running as an open competitor with time of 24:54... earned 1st team All-OVC with his 5th place finish at the 2006 conference championships in 25:34... placed 59th at the NCAA Midwest Regional... EIU’s top finisher in 4 races. In 2005, earned 2nd team All-OVC, finishing 12th (25:47/8k), helping EIU to the team championship... in track and field, first team All-OVC in indoor 5,000 meters... placed 3rd at Vanderbilt Relays in 3,000m... personal record of 14:51.99 at NCC Gregory in the 5000m and record time of 31:11.24 in 10,000m at Tennessee Sea Ray... won the OVC championship in the 10000m run in 2006 (31:53.76), after placing 2nd indoors in the 5000m and 6th in the 3000m... placed 3rd in the prestigious Kansas Relays in the 10000m run... runner-up in the 5000m run indoors at the 2006 OVC Championships and also placed 6th in the 3000m run... as a freshman in 2005, placed 8th in the 5000m run at the indoor OVC championships... HIGH SCHOOL: two-time All-State in HS cross country finishing 19th as a junior and 24th as a senior... earned All-Okaw Valley Conference honors four times each in track and cross country, and twice was team captain ...placed 10th in the 3200 at 2004 state meet... cross country was conference champs in 2002 and 2003, track was four-time conference champion and sectional title winner in 2003 and 2004 with PRs of 4:36 in the 1600 and 9:44 in the 3200.
