Violet is a redshirt junior sprinter… picked up a pair of 6th place finishes at the 2008 OVC Indoor championships in the 55m and 200m… personal record 7.69 in the 60m at the EIU Friday Night Special ranks tied for 3rd on EIU record list… set personal mark in the 400m at Friday Night Special with a time of 59.82… placed 7th in 100m and 8th in 200m at the 2008 OVC Outdoor championships… personal record in 100m at OVC meet with time of 12.31… personal mark in 200m at EIU Invite of 25.31... only participated in indoor season in 2007... pair of 5th place finishes at OVC Championships... season best of 7.77 in the 60 meters... also ran 400 dash during indoor season... season best time of 25.52 in the 200 meter dash came in the ISU PaceSetter while her season best mark of 59.96 in the 400 meter dash was in the 2006 OVC Outdoor Championship prelims... placed sixth in the 200 dash (25.64) and ran a leg on the sixth place 4x400 relay in the 2006 OVC indoor championship... her indoor time in the 200 meter dash was the eighth best indoor time at EIU...
